maybe look into these:

Greater Louisville KOI & Goldfish Society
Kentucky Reef Society
Louisville Marine Aquarium Society
Louisville Tropical Fish Fanciers
Owensboro Water Garden Society

I don't know about aquatic plant clubs, but Louisville definitely needs one

Thanks, a plant club would be neat and could trade some plants.

I've met some great people here, but so far I've only met people who are into salt water and cichlid tanks. Let me know if you find any groups of planted folks like us.

I've been looking and there is people who do plants here but no club... I'm thinking of starting a Freshwater Nano club and include shrimp/inverts, fish, and plants. I've been busy and just got the "ok" from the wife to convert my man cave into a fish cave/room. Would like some club to trade plants though cause i throw away a ton of plants every week and it feels bad.

I'm in Bowling Green and if you raise fish, plants, or Cherry Red Shrimp I'll definitely be wanting to stop by the fish cave!
Also please don't throw your plants away, I'll go pick some up if they will do ok in my tank!

I'd love to trade, share etc, but I'm running a single low tech tank. As a result I really don't get excess trimmings for like... Months. :/ All I have to share are snails, scuds (tiny fresh water shrimp) and some fast growing mystery moss. Looks a bit like Christmas moss.

Count me in on a planted club if one gets started.

75 gallon reef to planted tank conversion. Definite work in progress! TJ Here
