Wow, again?! But I just stocked my tank!

Edit: You might want to change the date on your post as it is for the last swap we just had

Do you have the following one scheduled, or a rough guess of when it will be? I do not know if my tank will be ready for much by then; I just started reworking an old FOWLR for FW plants.

Disregard the December 7th date in the post. The next swap will be January 25th as in the heading.

Thanks for the heads up Dan.

So... since this is coming up in a month... it lit a fire under my ass to finish up my stand for the 40B by then (yes, the same one I was working on previously). Not too much more to go, either. Finish staining the back of the doors and the trim and then put them on the stand and she's ready!

So hopefully I will be walking away with a lot of plants from one of the plants vendors.

Looking really good. What livestock do you plan on putting in there?

The plan as of now:
After the cycle, either move a bunch of shrimp over from my 15G or buy a bunch from ShrimpUSA at the swap
Bring in Ottos as needed
Let the shrimp populate a bit (prolly a few months at the least) and eventually start to slowly bring in Neon Tetras until I have about 30-35
Finish it off with a pair of German Rams

I need to find a place to get cheap sponges for my canister filter. I'm looking for sponges similar to that of the AquaClear variety, but in a sheet so I can cut it as needed. Anyone know of any place in the area or use something similar?

The same usual guy from WI was there with the driftwood. He actually started bringing manzanita a few swaps ago but I got this piece from the S&S here. PC1 I believe is who I bought it from

Is there going to be a pre-swap swap for this swap? Hahaha I've been out of the game for a few months and was hoping to buy some nice clippings from everyone to get my tank going again. I know in the past there has been a post for trading and such. Mainly looking for some rotala, crypts, anubias, maybe a hygro corymbosa or something similar.

I should have some plants pruned and ready to go for the swap. The Pogostemon erectus, Rotala colorata, Rotala sp. 'Green Narrow Leaf', and A. reiceckii should be available for that weekend. I also have some emersed grown Anubias nana also. If anyone is interested in any of the plants, let me know.

Anyone looking for equipment? I have various odds and ends laying around....

Done Beardie. I'll bring you a nice package.

Anyone interested in some really nice Bosemani rainbows? They're beauts, but just too rambunctious for the fish in my tank.
