New planted tank help

My tank has been goin for little over 2 months now. Plants don't look good. More than just plant melting. There is new growth to all my plants but seems lacking. I have a 10 gal. Flora base substrate, 4 bulb T5ho light fixture, co2 tank at 1-2 bps. Lights on 5-8 hours a day. What am I doin wrong. My dwarf baby tears look like crap. Lots of dead leaves. My glossostigmas are only growing upwards and at the base they are yellow and look like they are dying.

How many watts you running? How did you plant your plants? Did you rip the plants with your hand or clean cut it with a razor or sharp scissors? Did you dry start? Or flood?

These are all factors that's need to be asked

With t5ho you need to up your bps. Using a drop checker helps. I run my bps at between 4-6. What are you dosing? Pps pro is good but for your plants and lighting ei may be best. Also hc need tons of do2 glosso needs to be trimmed to be trained to grow close to the ground. And flora base is crud. No offense, but it's worth the money to buy a good aquasoil that actually contains nutrients instead of one that claims to contain them and has nothing is completely inert.

All that light and no food ? Get some ferts and see if the fixture will work/w only two bulbs till you have a tank full of growing plants.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line...in the opposite direction...

Dose wither PPS pro or ei

Nilocg sell them and he can give you an idea of which route is better for your tank. Since you have an inertt substrate ferts are a must. Especially when running t5ho and co2
