I was going to go with HC because it's the only one I've seen at the LFSs. What do you guys use? Do we get glosso here?

I use HC. It's such a great plant when it's in it glory. It can be a huge pita too.

I was at kalihi pets last week and the glosso was in bad shape looked like it was melting away. Petland sells hairgrass and glosso and Jojo at aquascapes said he should be getting some marselia on tuesday. hope that helps.

Thanks, all. I got to compare HC and glosso and ended up getting the HC because of the finer leaves.

I like the "fluffy" texture so opted out of the hairgrass.

I have Utricularia graminifolia and HC in my two tanks (link in signature).

Between the two, I prefer UG much more than HC. It was much easier to establish into a carpet and looks better IMO.

I checked them out at Petland Kahala. They had them displayed in the same tank, so it was easy to see the difference. I bought the last five pots of HC, though. When I went back this past Monday, they hadn't restocked yet.
