Best place to buy yellow neo shrimp in CT?

I'm in the NE section of the state and wet pets/aquatic wildlife are pretty expensive. Looking for better options to buy some shrimp.

Well...a year later, look into blakes aqua den in meriden. A bit of a drive but prices are quite a bit better. Also, Id take Wet Pets over Aquatic any day of the week.

I live in the same area but have only visited aquatic wildlife. You are correct even simple RCS are expensive. Let me know if you find a good source!

Yes, Aquatic Wildlife is nice, but expensive. Blake's is a great store, not so much for plants though. He normally has a couple tanks setup for shrimp. Anyone been down to World Wide in New Haven recently, he seems more into the bigger stuff, Blake's probably has the best selection of shrimp.

I live right around the corner from World Wide - I've asked him about shrimp, and he's said he wants to get a bunch of shrimp tanks going and try and keep about 10 species/variations avail.

I'll extend it a little.

Wet Pets started carrying shrimp. Their prices were pretty good on most of what they carried. Nothing super high end and the tanks are mixed, so you may need to cull the first batch or two, but they did have some nice blue velvets, yellow, sunkist, black, green, rilli, CRS, and a couple other randoms.

I remember someone would pop up every now and then on Craigslist a while back with really good prices.

I usually feel kind of guilty using the quick reply... my replies are rarely quick.
