The North East Council of Aquarium Societies is hosting the 42nd annual convention this weekend (short notice, I know). This year there is a focus on Killies (annuals I believe), wild type bettas (with a talk on a new anabantoid species), and African Ciclids I believe. Tons of great talks, vendors, and a couple plant specific vendors.
There is an auction for the Southern New England Killie Association (SNEKA) on Sat evening.
There is an auction Sunday (I'll be there for the auction only) which doesn't requie the convention fees, but you also don't get to attend any talks. Bidder's card is $2. You still get access to the vendors. There are some amazing breeders that bring some extremly rare fish and plants. This is a really fun auction to attend.
It is held at the Rocky Hill, CT Sheraton hotel.
I usually feel kind of guilty using the quick reply... my replies are rarely quick.
