Check valve question

I’m setting up a Co2 Art Pro-elite series co2 regulator and am wondering if I need a check valve on the tubing leading to my in-line diffuser ... ?
I bought one, but am realizing that with the built-in bubble counter, the check valve is possibly redundant.
Thanks.

Redundancy is good. I really like the Aquatek check valve, but just about any of them would work fine. The closer it is to your diffuser, the less time it will take for the co2 to travel back down the tube when it comes on.
