I've got extremely soft water and have seen evidence of calcium deficiency, and it looks nothing like this. Yes, the leaves are twisted, but it's the individual leaves, not a whole section like this, and it's very random twisting, not a spiral like this. This looks pretty cool.

The base of the plant looks normal, it starts twisting about 3 nodes up. I am hoping it is some kind of mutation, and that once the new shoots come off the top they will be corkscrewed also. I have about 25 stems and this is the only one that looks this way.
