melting or deficiency?

Hi

I'm trying to determine if this is melting or a nutrient deficiency? I got the Rosette swords about a month ago. The first picture was just after I planted them, the next is today, 07/23. Basic info ph 6.4, ammonia and nitrites 0. I have been battling with a nitrate spike, so I have not been dosing liquid first, but the swords have root tabs. I'm thinking iron or potassium if it's a deficiency. Alkalinity is around 70 ppm

newly planted

.
