Jacobsaquarium.com review!

I think his plants are great! There was an issue with shipping and it got here today instead of Friday but they are all amazing. The trident java fern is way bigger than what I thought it was and the anubias coffeefolia is smaller than I thought but other than that they are all in great shape. I’m going to make another $80 order tomorrow bc I’m confident in him. You should give him a try if you need to order plants! I got 3 anubias coffeefolia, 2 tiger lotus, 1 anubias afzelii, 3 trident Java Fern, and 1 java fern.

@wtusa - I've learned that I should always lower my expectations to lower my disappointments when blindly purchasing plants online. However, my order at Jacob's hit a new low.
3 - six inch inch hygro stems, zero leaves, just tiny buds on top, all melted off when received. There was no bringing them back to life as they were all limp noodles on the bottom of my tank the next morning.
2 - orders of H'ra, bad shape, had to be trimmed into tiny pieces, still nursing them back after a month.
2 - orders of Sag... fulfilled with one crypt.
The only thing I was happy with at the time of delivery was my Anubias, but I now doubt it's the variety I originally ordered.
'So what" one might say, small order, you got some plants, deal with it. I would normally agree, but what got me was I sent an email, with pics, as per HIS instructions, to express my dissatisfaction and I have yet to receive a reply.
No Thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I think that this is a tough time to be trying to get livestock. Online purchasing is probably the worst. At least in an LFS you can see the condition of the item.

Many businesses are showing low or out of stock There is undoubtedly a ripple effect from suppliers going under or being short staffed. Add to this risky shipping, unless you pay a huge amount you may have problems.

I am waiting to get a shipment from a supplier with a good reputation. I paid $26 for Priority Mail for a small order from a state not that far from mine. The package left on Monday and it still has not shown up. It was supposed to show yesterday(Friday). Tracking never showed it as delivered but this morning(Saturday) at 7am I got a tracking update that it was "delivered" at 6:30pm yesterday.

I was home all day and it was not delivered. They probably missed their delivery window and rather than putting it in as an "exception" just put it in as delivered. I do appreciate that the USPS is at work during this crazy time but I would rather have them say that they could not make it.

Now I have to convince the seller that although the package shows as delivered it really was not. I will need them to understand this in case the plants show up as soup.

Update: My package did arrive. It was remarkably well packed and the plants looked great. The company was Aquatic Arts.
