Wild caught plants advice?

I just got a super small amount of duckweed and the other one I dont know, cause I dont like to take anything from nature, and I quarantined them in this bowl with 100% nutrient rich substrate and I dropped some seachem flourish and iron.

I have this regular LED office table light, only thing I had, and since I'm from Florida I'm sacred about the BRAIN EATING AMOEBA which exists in lakes around here.

I know they need to stay in this bowl for a while just in case there was any egg sack or bacterias stocked on them. Im confused about medication, the only one I have for now is water conditioner and Melafix. Also I have some charcoal bags as well, should i add it in the tank?

I will wait till they start proliferate to add it in my main tank, which have tropical fish like german bkues and neon tetras.

Any advice? Thanks guys
