The first one...there are no bananas...itís rooted, the leaves are very delicate and it grows poorly under low light...Iíve barely kept it alive for the past 9 months. Doesnít seem like banana plants Iíve seen before unless itís going to sprout them eventually maybe? Rest are spot on.

First one may be Hydrocotyle Leucocephala? Kind of short and denser though

Hi @CarissaT,

I think @DaveKS got them all correct, the first one being Nymphoides hydrophylla (aka sp. 'Taiwan'). The last one looks like Pogostemon stellatus 'Octopus".

Yes you are right. The material says it needs a lot of nourishment and itís barely been kept alive for the last year. But just look at it since Iíve started bumping up my ferts just in two weeks since my last post!

Iím still getting die off of older leaves on the hydro... but it seems to have slowed down somewhat since bumping ferts. I think it might just be residual die off from before...basically all old growth will have to be replaced. Iíve been ripping out algae ridden leaves with a vengeance and also got rid of a lot of the hornwort since thatís a nutrient hog. Think things are at least going in the right direction. Iím still annoyed by patches of hair algae, just when I think Iíve got it all another patch springs up. But itís not on the plants now at least.

!

I think you are right because the stripes are more pronounced than on any pics of ozelot swords Iíve seen.

Yep, it's also more purple looking and ozelot usually has some black dotting on it. That's where the name ozelot comes form it. Unless yours does and I can't see it in the pic.

The pic is accurate. When the leaves come out in the middle they are brighter red and turn darker as they get older. But no dots.
