Ice Crystal?

Just wondering what this is. It does not look like Cabomba or Hornwort. The LFS called it Ice Crystal but I'm wondering if it has another name.

Thank you, @MarylandGuppy, that one's been bugging me all afternoon and I've been drawing a blank! 99% sure that one grows in ponds where I grew up. I've heard it called milfoil but never ice crystal. There's a succulent-type grassy plant that's commonly called that, Ficinia truncata but it looks nothing like myriophyllum. I sometimes wonder if the LFS makes these trade names up. I never once saw wholesalers come up with their own common names for plants or fish.

Nothing good happens fast in an ecosystem.

Is it not Myriophyllum mattogrossense? If not, how do you distinguish between the 2?

Respectfully,

Stuart

Most all water milfoil look the same emersed.
I guess the only true way to tell would be to let them flower.
Maybe Cavan will chime in here?

Yep. Looks like a type of Myriophyllum. Thanks for the feedback. I think my LFS came up with that name since it looks like and ice crystal from overhead. It grows like crazy under medium light.
