Question Can anyone identify these offshoots?

These tiny vine-like offshoots appear to be growing from my variegated water wisteria. In the image you can see the 2 or 3 tiny vine/offshoots floating above the wisteria. The plant is doing just fine so it's not an issue I'm just curious. Are these some sort of flowers? Are they free floating roots? I've searched and haven't found any similar images on wistera or variegated wisteria (both of which I have in my tank). Any answers much appreciated.

Those look like utricularia gibba, itís actually a plant, can very easily become a pest. I would suggest very gentle pulling all that you see. Make sure you get it all.

Seems to be carnivorous aquatic bladderwort UG, best to remove it.

Growing is not that difficult.

Thanks for the ID, never heard of this plant. Done a brief bit of research on it right now. Interesting species. Does it tend to strangle or crowd out other plants? I have been wondering what a particular shoot in my subtrate was for weeks now and its probably this stuff. Which means it's spread a bit from where it's free floating.

It just grows through everything and makes a huge tangled mess. Don't get all of it now and you'll likely come to despise it.

I did some more searching and saw how tangled it can get. I pulled out what I saw. It seemed to be a single long strand so hopefully I got it all.
