Possible Ca deficiency

Current dosing is
NO3- 10ppm
K- 10ppm + 2
PO4- 3ppm
Ca- 30ppm
Mg- 10ppm

KNO3- 1/2 tsp + 1/4 tsp
K - 1/2 tsp
PO4- 1/4 tsp
Ca- 4 tbsp
Mg- 2 tbsp

This week the new growth on the ludwigia rubin has been curling in on itself and new growth is ehh. I'm guessing the plant mass increase is to blame.

If you have 30ppm Ca in the water column I would doubt a calcium deficiency.

What are you dosing for micros? pH is ?? regarding Fe as indicator element.

CSM+B uses Fe EDTA and pH 7.2 could be pushing it.

DTPA would be a better choice in Fe.

Past day or so someone posted a chart of chelated Fe and pH values.

Alright, I'll monitor it for another week, if no improvements I'll pick up some DTPA. Thank you. Another question would be if the de-gassed PH is 7.2 and drops to around 6 with co2 on, would that still be a problem for EDTA? I see the solubility of the EDTA caps at a PH of 6.0-6.3, and DTPA is good till about 7. Assuming I pick up DTPA, is there any way I can continue dosing the CSM+B without making a new batch?

Did not realize there was CO2.
It helps with the lower pH.

I add 10%DTPA to my CSM+B mix
For every 15g CSM+B I add 3g 10%DTPA
5:1 ratio, but you will need to recheck dosing requirements.

Right to the mix? So you have 2 different Fe's in one bag? I'm not really familiar with mixing my own ferts, so sorry for the dumb questions, but there's no problem with have both in the same batch, is there?

Sorry, I mix a solution and dose liquids.
Forgot you were dosing with dry.

Don't think I'd mix both dry you would never be sure it all mixed.
