Is this a healthy crypt? If so is it wendtii red?

I always have people ask me what I do to get the crinkle in my crypts, I bought them as wendtii red, I don't know if it's a deficiency or if I'm actually doing something right for a change , don't look at the hair algae lol, low tech, medium light no c02 struggles, what am I doing to get the crinkle if they are supposed to have it, if not how do I get them to not crinkle

That is the Wendtii red "Mi Oya" that gets that cool texture, as opposed to regular old Wendtii red. Looks good!

That is a beautiful crypt. I do believe the crinkled texture is desirable, looks fantastic.

That's the much desired 'hammered' look that many Crypts have. I had a big solitary Crypt Usteriana that had tinges of bronze and the hammered look.

I ordered some Bronze Crypt Wendtii 2 weeks ago that are now growing out their new leaves with the crinkle.

Looks fantastic doesn't it?

Starting small, keeping it simple..(?)
250 gallon stock tank, "pond"
20 gallon H CBS Shrimp tank
