Plant name

Hi all,
Can you let me know the name of the plant which on the left side. Can that be grown in a piece of wood or do i need to plant it.

Maybe some kind of Crypt.

No, it needs to be planted in the substrate.

It looks to be a melon sword. If it is, it needs root tabs as sword plants are heavy root feeders.

Swords, Crpyt, any larger rooted broad leaved plants will benefit from root tabs, but any fertilizer will work. All liquid or liquid and root tabs or all root tabs.

Heavy root feeder is an older term that has been proved a myth.

Been dosing Seachem flourish. When i bought them, it didnt had any root. there are so many roots with in 2 weeks.

Plant it in the substrate.

Look into Osmocote+ root tabs. Try not to buy Flourish tabs. Continue to dose the Flourish.
