Like is it shaded or anything? Does it get good flow? What substrate do you use?

Maybe it is a flow issue. How are you dosing your micros? CSM+B?

Some people find AR does better with lower micros, give it a go, it might help. That being said I think that is more important for low CEC substrates which your substrate is not.
Try placing the AR in a part of the tank with more flow and see if it does better.

My A Reineckii mini loves high flow areas of my tank with very bright direct light, high co2 and appreciates root tabs (with macros). Only time i see algae on mine is if it gets shaded and flow gets blocked.

My money is in the CSM+B dosing. I struggled with AR for years before lowering micros, and now I can grow the plant just fine. Burr740 has demonstrated that you can grow nice plants, including AR mini, at less than 1/10 of the CSM+B dosing that you are using now. Keep macros up, get good flow, and I would also try reducing the trace dosing.
