Need advice on substrate

Hi Guys
I need some help please i got some gravel called natural Silica? Will this work for my planted fish tank ?

Any tips will be appreciated

Looks just like a coarse sand. Lot's of tanks use sand for the sub. Just remember that
it has no nutrients for the plants so you need to add them.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight the opposite direction...

If you like the look of a lighter colored substrate, you'll love the great look of that substrate - just add root tab ferts for your plants' growth. Very easy to clean up & keep it looking good.

From what I've read, the ideal grain size for plants is 1-2mm dia. That looks about right. Root tabs are a good idea.

I have white silica in one of my planted tanks, mine is much finer than that but I love the look.
