Adding more aqua soil to a 7 weeks old tank

So I've been thinking of adding more Aqua soil to my tank and I feel it just isn't enough

What would be the best process to do this?

Is it even safe?

I have no shrimp

Right now I believe that it's still possible for what sub you have to still be leaching
anything that may need leveling off like some dirt subs leach ammonia for a while.
This being the case I think it would do less harm now than later.
But...I would do this over a couple of weeks time by placing a cheapo funnel in the end of a piece of(clean) garden hose about 6-8 inches longer than to the top of the water line from the sub. And I would first do only 1/4 of the tank. Then after a day you should check the water for changes in GH KH PH etc to see if it had much effect on that.
But the top 1/2" of your sub contains some of your bio-bacteria and you don't want to cover it all at once. You may get a mini bacteria bloom of white cloudy water also for
a few days after. But the hose will minimize the dust effect. Filter off while doing it.
That is how I added some more sub.
I should have clearly stated that you check the GH etc before you do this so you have something to compare your new test to. Any noticeable changes and I'd wait a week before doing the next 1/4 of the bottom. Also if you do get that bacteria bloom wait till it goes away before doing this more.
Sorry....and one more thing. Vals and some other plants should be pulled up till the roots are the same depth in the sub as before you did the adding.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight the opposite direction...
