Uprooting and re-planting with aquasoil

Is it generally recommended not to do a lot of things that mess with the substrate due to the fragile nature of ada aquasoil? Would working with stem plants cause the soil to break down into mud faster?

If you plant in it you are bound to break it down. However its not like your taking tweezers and jabbing in and out of substrate.
