Can you create "Depth" with eco-complete?

I have read that eco complete is hard to create slopes with, because over time it will just level itself out into a flat layer(due to how the substrate works with the smaller particles sliding towards the bottom).

I'm just wondering if this is true. If not, could you post pictures of eco complete with slopes/valleys?

I don't use eco complete, but you could probably do what a lot of others do and use eggcrate as a foundation for slopes if you're planning to have significant changes in elevation in your scape.
