Has anyone used pavestone natural playsand in a tank before. Im going to use it to cap dirtThe bag i got looks different although im pretty sure its made of the same stuff

I use pool filter sand, but others have used play sand just fine. It will be a little more brown than pool filter sand, but it works the same.

Play sand has a little more dirt in it I believe because my girlfriend used it and it made her tank cloudy but the cloudy ness will clear after a couple days. Looks pretty good in her tank

im using pool filter sand, but i might go dark because im using fancy tail guppies in my tank. $5 in home depot.
