Question Substrate Question (Non-Glossy Black)

Hello,

Any idea on where to get black gravel that isn't glossy more of a flat black color?

I have 3M ColorQuartz T-grade on 2 of my tanks and recently got a Marineland Eclipse 12. I was intending on getting 3M ColorQuartz T-Grade again but decided it's too much of an hassle and I don't need that much for a 12 gallon.

So I decided to get black gravel instead to make life easier, but I can't seem to find black gravel that is a flat color. Every black gravel I see in store/online is so glossy.

The closest thing I can find is Pettex Roman Gravel Jet Black, but is only in online stores in UK...

here is some pics of it

This seems like a good choice since it's more rounded that the gravel available here and has the flat black color I prefer, but is there anything similar here in the states (chain stores or online stores).

Since you are only stocking a 12 gallon, spend the extra money and get eco complete. It's excellent substrate, great size, great color, awesome for plants. You probably could get away with only 1 bag, but someone might have to verify if that is enough. I know you definitely wouldn't need much more than one bag, so you could even use a little substrate from you other tanks on the bottom and top off with the 1 bag of eco.
