Now I want to Switch To Black Diamond

I wish I'd stay away from this place!

I have now decided I want black diamond vs my eco.

I'm thinking maybe the fine - any opinions? I have panda cories

Sounds like a project but it would look so pretty!

I forget exactly which one I got but I prefer the one that is finer. The finest one that have is VERY fine and I think I got the second-finest. Others can weigh in there.

Just make sure you rinse the hell out of it before you put it in your tank.

I used the medium grit. The fine grit will get suspended in your water column every time a fish farts! Also, the fine stuff will act more like sand and that brings in the whole anaerobic substrate conversation.

+1 I went with medium and am very happy with it. It's definitely easy to disturb but wont "cloud" or anything and sinks immediately (assuming you wash it well).

ok, medium it will be when I go for it. I wanted what the cories would like best since I have them.

Medium is a good choice, but it depends on what you like. both are going to do the job

Medium is in my tank. Just make sure you get enough to plant deep enough. I didnt have enough so some spots are shallow and in the morning i got floating plants
