Black Diamond Medium or fine?

I think I decided on the dirt (MGOPS) capped with black diamond.
Should I use medium or fine grit? what size are the particles. Id rather the coarse sand than the normal aquarium gravel sized pieces, but I don't really care.I want the one that will work best!

I plan to do plants, shrimp, a school cardinal tetras, corys and a few discus when I get the tank balanced.

I use 20/40 and -60 grit and really like both for planting.

Due to photobuckets new bs cost for use of images on forums I have deleted all photobucket accounts. I apologize if you enjoyed or found my photos helpful.
