Bubble in new tank setup

Hi everyone,

So I placed ADA Amazonia as the base layer and the powder form on top. I noticed that there's a lot of air bubbles in the substrate. I have tried poking into the soil but there's just too many bubbles. Should I should wait it out? It's a fairly new set up of about 5 days.

I'm going to say that it should be fine to wait it out, as the bubbles will eventually find a way up/out...just as long as you didn't compact the substrate tightly, but to be on the safe side, just keep poking around different areas of the substrate everyday, to let out some of the bubbles so there won't be too much of a "gas" build up in there. The one thing that you want to avoid is having a huge combustion in your tank...and things would get very very very messy.

My amazonia did the same thing, nothing to worry about. Just your standard oxygen bubble. I've never done anything in particular to get rid of them.
