Substrate in Tank Upgrade

I am in the process of upgrading from my 2yo planted 75gallon to a planted 125 gallon. My plan is to use a sprinkle a very light dusting of (CSM+B, K2SO4, and epson salt), then a light dusting of peat, then the established charcoal SMS from my 75 gallon, and a mixture of unused SMS and Eco-Complete to achieve a dept of approximately 4" total.
My primary concern is if I should use the dry ferts and whether the established substrate should be on the top layer. Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.
