blasting sand for bottom dwelling gobies?

Would black Diamond blasting sand be okay for borrowing gobies/sifters? I have heard good and bad so I'm not sure.

Many people use it in tanks with cory, knife fish, and loaches with success. I use 20/40 grit or -60 grit and have false jullie cories that have done great. I also have it in tanks with bettas who like to investigate the bottom of the tank under the plants (betta fins are ridiculously delicate and easy to rip) no issues.

Due to photobuckets new bs cost for use of images on forums I have deleted all photobucket accounts. I apologize if you enjoyed or found my photos helpful.

finer black diamond is good for sand sifting animals how ever it can be a pain for holding down plants and can cause aerobic gas pockets, i use the 20/40 wish i could get the 12/20 though
