Major rescape. How about switching to ADA AS whil I'm at it?

Hi. I'm planning major rescape in near future in my 29gal. And thought maybe I should also switch to Ada Amazonia while at it? The tank is 1 year old, dirted substrate. Pressurized co2. Will I benefit from going Amazonia insted of keeping old dirt?
My complain about current setup is it's messy to move plants around and my Belem carpet is prone to bba wich is irrelevant to substrate I think.

So the main question is should I switch out dirt for Amazonia ?

I would. It is just more simple and one less unknown variable to worry about. I don't see the point of saving 10 dollars and then living with all kinds of headaches.

Just be aware and careful because changing to ADA will likely cause an ammonia spike in the tank. If you have any sensitive inverts they could have issues. Do you have anywhere temporary you can put your livestock for a few days while the tank re-cycles?
