Espoma Plant-tone Organic Plant Food

Not sure if this thread should be placed here or in the fert and water param section but posting here anyway.

Does anyone know if it is safe to mix in Espoma Plant-tone Organic Plant Food in a dirted substrate?

Maybe if you mix it into the soil a month or two before starting the tank, and allow it to "compost", or break down by benificial bacteria and fungus. I think mixing it in right before dirting the tank would make for too much decomposing organic matter in the soil, and ALOT of gasses being created under soil. Might avoid some of that by letting it breakdown before.

Espoma makes decent products, but I would save them for the vege garden.
Or maybe test it on a small tank and see how it goes.
