Exclamation driftwood wont stay secured in SMS

hey,

i recently got soilmasterselect as my substrate, i washed it for a good 2 hours and had it cycling in my tank until it was almost clear,

next i proceed to put in my driftwood,
i tried tying two pieces of driftwood together at the bottom and putting it in, but it sits in the substrate very delicately,

i know this is because soil master is very very light,
any suggestions how i can get the driftwood to stick into the substrate nice and tight?

Tie a few small rocks to the bottom of the DW where it would be hidden under the substrate.

How long has the driftwood been in the tank? If you just put it in, give it some time to become water-logged again and it should stay down better.

the wood has been in my tank for over 2-3 months, i had it in my tank with sand and it would stuck in decently,

Thanks for all your inputs, for now i just dug the wood into the substrate as deep as i could and pressed down the substrate around the wood, atleast it can withhold the current of my filter :P

but yeah thats my solution, hopefully in time as the substrate absorbs water it will become more heavy !
