Can I reuse 1 year old MTS?

I'm getting ready to move my 75 gallon to a new stand and have to remove everything. Can I reuse the 1 year old MTS or do I need to start over?

I don't have time to start over mineralizing soil so I'm hoping I can reuse it. If not, are there any other options other than buying expensive substrate? Like just buying garden soil or using clay out of the yard?

Might try plain top soil and mix it with some clay or cat litter or safety sorb.
I mixed special kitty brand cat litter from Walmart with MGOCPM.
The cat litter comes in red bag, and is nothing but dried clay (no additives,or scented).
This helps the soil produce longer, for the clay holds nutrient's longer.
I have fairly hard water so I also mixed in some peat to help soften it a bit and the peat too has good CEC which also helps hold nutrient's longer.
If you have some clay/loam soil then you could use it and cap it and not need the cat litter/safteysorb/clay.

Thanks. I would rather reuse what I have since it's cycled. Does anyone knows if that would work?

Mineralizing the soil just breaks down the organic content of soil outside the aquarium and allows for the nutrient's to become more readily useable by plant's quicker.
Does not ensure long term nutrient availability for most soils will peter out from nutrient standpoint after a year maybe without enhancing it somehow.
Could last longer I guess if you have slow grower's and not many of em.

That's what I thought as far as it providing nutrients.

I guess I'll just start over and use my Black Diamond Cap again. It will have more bio in it than the soil.

Add some slow release fertilizer and it should work just fine.

Yeah, I was going to use Osomote Plus tabs but decided to just get a bottle of Osomote Plus and put it on the bottom instead of wasting my tabs.

I'm hoping to do this tomorrow.
