Good clay to replace laterite?

I have access to this clay..How does it look as far as content???

Silica (SiO2) 64.17

Alumina (A12O3) 14.80

Ferric oxide (Fe2O3) 8.10

Lime (CaO) 1.34

Magnesium carbonate (MgCO3) 27

Magnesium sulphate (MgSO.j) 5.57

Water (H.O) 6.54

Total 100.79

Want to mix it in with MINERALIZED soil,or to use it as an additive..

I suspect this will work, but if there is a problem it may be with the high magnesium carbonate content. The clay will probably leach carbonates and raise the KH of the water unless it is well buried under the inert substrate. I'm not yet convinced that it does any good to put iron rich clay in the substrate anyway, since we dose chelated iron routinely, and that should provide all the iron the plants need.
