How deep is your substrate?

Hi there,

I am trying to calculate how much substrate I need so I can decide which way to go (amazonia or DIY depending on cost) and need to know how deep everyone has their substrate.

Regards Darren

Mine is 2" - 5" deep. I wouldn't recommend more than 3" deep in normal circumstances, mine is that deep b/c it's a large tank and I'm keeping large swordplants (which need room for their massive root systems).
