AS for 60p

WEll, I am going to buy a 60p to replace my 20 gallon this winter. On the ada site, it says I need 1 9 liter bag of AS I and 2 liters of powersand. My question is, I have heard that you dont need the powersand, but will I have enough substrate to create a nice slop in my tank? I have seen the substrate calculator on this site, but there isnt an option for AS. I need some recommendations.

You could use pool filter sand if you wish.. IMO Power Sand is a waste of money.

I want to have only AS, I dont want to have light colored substrate. I am just wondering if 1 9 liter bag will be enough?

Well, I think the 60p is 24X12. If you wanted to have a substrate that averaged 3" of depth, you would need a volume of 24X12X3 = 864 cubic inches of substrate. 9L of substrate ~ 549 cubic inches

I probably would. It doesn't hurt to have some extra. Maybe you can even start a nano with the extra. That's what I did when I bought some for my 20H. I used the extra to do my 10" cube
