Planting in ADA Amazonia! Teach me!

I'm having trouble planting in ADA Amazonia. I'm new to planted tanks so this is the first time using ADA Amazonia (Normal) and I'm using tweezers to try and push the roots into the substrate but when I go to pull the tweezers out I either always pull the plant out with them or the plant floats because all I've done is made a hole in the substrate.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong please.

What works for me is first I push the roots in the substrate then drag about an inch to where I want the plant.
Make sure your tweezers don't have anything on the tip's, IE plant mater, food, substrate...
Of course planting in little to no water helps tremendously.

When planting it is easier when the water level is in half or above the Aquasoil
by 2-4".

Planting the plants bu inserting them sideways helps too.

One month in.

i angle my tweezer tips to stem plants at roughly 45 degrees. push down stem to depth you want, release tweezers, and pull up at an angle, and sort of "wiggle" your tweezers as you do so.

I'm with Milesm I put the plant down, then open my tweezers slowly letting the grains of soil fall in between the tweezers and the plant.

Just keeping on keeping on....
