ADA Aquasoil sugestion?

Seeing there are many different type of Aquasoil, which one is ok to use to growth HC?
How much do I need to get for 10 gal tank? Thanks,

I'd go with the original Amazonia, and I'd probably get a bag of the powder type to cap it. Here's a link to determine how much you need, I always suggest getting a bit more than you think you need, especially if you're planning on sloping the substrate. I personally use amazonia II and have had no problems, but I remember Jeff Senske saying a while back that he wouldn't bother using anything but the original type. Actually, I have had a minor problem, that being that since the amazonia II is a bit softer than the original, some got crushed while I was doing my hardscape. This can be avoided by being more gentle or using the regular amazonia.

should i rinse it first before put in the tank?
