When you use this combo do you layer the flourite with the sand or mix the two?

What is the prefered method?

I layered.... I Put down the flourite and covered with sand.... Some mixing will happen....

120g, Flourite & Sand. DIY Stand and Canopy. CF lighting 3wpg, Pressurized C02, DIY reactor. 2-XP3's, 500watt heater.

Jason that is one fine looking tank and with only 30% flourite. Ive seen many 100% not even come close. Keep up the good work

Thanks for the info Jason. I was leaning tword layering instead of mixing. The only thing that was bothering me was one member on here was saying they didn't like the sand because it looked dirty.

You can see my pics in my photo album and I never vacuum my sand
