Question rock for design in planted tank ??

Hi all
I have this stone ,,Can I use this stone in planted tank ?
I'm newbie
thank you

another question, please help
I live in south California,the place with tap water,,,I have de-clo bottle,,that 's enough or need some kind of treatment to water before fill in tank with planted tank ( and some small fish, too )

it would be easier to tell if the rock was dry. that way
we can tell alot easier.

just dip it in vinigar, if it fizzes, then no.

Yes, use white vinegar. You don't have to dip it, just sprinkle some over the rock's surface. It won't completely leave any room for doubt that the rock is aquarium-safe, but it will help rule out some bad ones for sure.

Yes you should be OK just using a good dechlor chemical to treat your tapwater. Seachem's Prime has one of the best reputations ATM and is pretty cost-effective.
