ADA Forest Sand?

Looks like ADA is rolling out another decorative sand product.

It's on http://www.adana.co.jp/_e_products/substrate_index.php

On the Japanese version, you can see a close up of the product. It looks like they are coarser grained, more natural versions of the original decorative sand products.

I'm definitely interested, does anyone (Mr. Senske, Mr. Lo?) know anything about these?

In college....so no aquariums for a while.....

Do you mean areas with a bare sand foreground? It can be stunning if done correctly. Perhaps a mistranslation?

Anyway, ADA doesn't just cater to aquascapers. I was hoping to use it for a biotope style thing.

It looks a lot more natural than the ADA decorative sand, like it was actually pulled from a stream. Not that I'm complaining about ADA decorative sand, I think it's leaps and bounds better than any competing product.

Yeah where they use other substrate but its not visible. Just super clean sand. It was posted by one of the members here that was lucky enough to go to the party at ADA when they announced the winners.

ADA's main market is Aquascapers, or like minded people.

Sounds cool to me. The products are great.

Well yeah, that's their main market, at least here. If you check the Japanese catalog, they have some really cool pond, freshwater fishkeeping, and marine supplies.

Are there any fellow ADA devotees who know anything else?
