Mixing ADA and ECO soil?

Any opinions on mixing ECO sand with ADA? Is it safe or not? Thanks for any opinions.

If your doing the mix to stretch your AquaSoil, another option would be to lay down some inert base rockwork to provide your slope and then cover with ADA substrate and work in your hardscape elements. Hope that helps.

The ecocomplete will crush your aquasoil. The only thing I think you can do is to put a layer of ecocomplete on the bottom, similar to how powersand works.

On that note I will do that as since the ECO is cheaper I will put it at the 2-3 inches and the top inch and half ADA. Any other opinions do chime in.

Have you looked into dirt tanks? I have had just as good results with that setup for plants. Unless you want the ADA for it PH lowering properties.
