Do I still need a layer of peat moss with ECO Complete?

I am setting up a 24g aquapod as a planted tank. I have 40 lbs of eco complete. Do I still need peat moss? if so how much? 1/2 inch?

No, EcoComplete is best used by itself. Are you wanting to bring down your PH? Why peat?

I read on here that some people use peat with ECO, but to me ECO itself seemed fine.

They put peat so the water doesnt get to hard from the Eco. Peat Softens the water , But in your case your in NYC and your water is already soft

One month in.
