Gravel turning orange?

I've only had my tank up around 2 weeks and in the past 4 days the water has gotten very cloudy and some of the rock in the front has turned from its normal bright white to a dark orange color. Any idea what could be causing this?
I've including a picture that was taken with my webcam so it's not of the best quality, but I think it helps you get the idea.

Tough to tell from the pic but based on the 2 weeks, I'll say Diatom algae. Does it rub off easy?

EDIT: JINX, my post is first, I win. LOL

My guess is that you have diatoms, which are VERY common in new tanks and will go away - they tend to come from the silicate in the water. If you scrub off the rocks like with a toothbrush then it rinses away, yes?

EDIT: I wonder if we can "jinx" ninja posts... Walter Walter Walter

I just took some of the orange rocks out of the tank and when they hit the air they seemed to turn white again. A few were still lightly orange and rubbing them turned them white. I think my mollies are supposed to eat diatoms, but since I feed them they don't. The female is pregnant so I want to make sure she is getting enough nutrition.

You'll be lucky to keep those rocks white - overtime gunk and various stuff will build up on them. Mollies will pick at the diatoms if they get thick, but yeah, you'll need to supplement.
