Apparently not this thread. I've got SMS and I'm happy so far. Of course this is my first planted tank, so what do I know?

I think all calcined clays are going to achieve the same results. The main factors are physical appearance and local availability. I think most people convinced that plant performance is going to come from their substrate are ADA buyers.
