They are ok. They have some fairly nice planted tank displays, but their plants for sale are variable. Their fish stock is variable too but have FW and SW. Much better than your normal LFS though.

Geez! How could I have missed this place? I've probably driven by it several times. I live between the 5 and 91 off of Euclid. Would you say it's better than Tong's in F.V. (not counting pricing, Tong's is OUTRAGEOUS!)? What would you say is the BEST O.C. fish store?

yup..you are right there *L* My parents house (ie my weekend house Is right there around Ball and euclid.

The three stores I go to are Tongs in FV, Pacific Reef in Anaheim, and Petown in Lake Forest. They all have the plus and minuses....guess it depends on what you are looking for

Sorry for reviving the thread, but does anyone know of a cheaper source? I recall someone saying that he/she got theirs for I think $17 a bag?

If you ever get up to Northern California for business or the wine, Albany Aquarium sells 2 bags for 30.00. It is a long stretch to get up here, but you never know.

Talking Southern California source for Eco-Complete

I've been a "lurker" for a while but I thought I should chime in on this one. I just picked up 8 bags of Eco-Complete from Marine Depot for $19.95/bag at their Will Call desk. Great people to work with. They are located right across from Anaheim Stadium (Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim).

PS:I just hate that team name.

The Reef on St College and La Palma sells it for $20 a bag. He usually has some and Strictly Fish in Lakewood always has it for $29
