Here is an old Krib link with a lot of info on Turface/ Profile and Schultz Aquatic Plant Soil for anyone researching alternatives to Flourite or Ecocomplete. I think the Turface Pro League and MVP are suppose to be fairly inert calcined (baked) clay and have a high CEC content. And for those who want to know what the heck is CEC, here is a link. Many, like myself, who have no background in chemistry find these terms a big learning curve. Hope this helps... bob
