Not sure which substrate to go with...

Could anybody tell me if there is a planted substrate that is actually visually pleasing? And in that case, which do you guys think looks nicer... Eco complete or Flourite?

I think Flourite and ADA Aqua Soil look quite nice; is there something in particular you don't like or are looking for?
