Moving Flourite between tanks

Hello,
this fl
I have decided to convert my small 10G planted tank to a nano reef. However in the small tank I have 20lb of flourite do you guys think it would be OK to move this flourite to my 90G planted tank? The 10G tank was standing with water in in but without any filtration, and any light for about 3 weeks before I got a chance to empty the water. I rinsed the flourite and now it is sitting in a bucket. Do you guys think that it will be safe to put this in my already established planted tank? Should I worry about anything? Some strange algae showing up, or some desease?

It should be just fine as long as you didn't have some strange algae on it before.

I would honestly just leave it in the bucket and leave it to dry, outside if it isnt too cold but you are from canada so.....

Unless you find a way to use it for your 90 gallon you might just want to save it for another tank instead of disturbing your 90gallon, just my opinion..

You could however great some cool slopes/hills/etc with the extra flourite, use imagination
