What is the difference in soilmaster select and non select?

My local Lesco only has the non select variety. What is the difference? (I apologize if this has already been covered, I searched and couldn't find anything).

Select has a slightly smaller and more uniform grain size. I prefer the regular soilmaster to the select.

it's fine, it's the same thing as profile/turface... the only thing is that it will be red. if you can find charcoal, it'll look nicer
